For this reason, Shanghai Tyre & Rubber Co Ltd, Beijing Polk Catarc and Guangzhou South China Rubber Tire Co are invited to speak on the local tire market for the benefit of local tire manufacturers as well as the global players.
The tire industry in India however, being a price-sensitive market, has not been able to recover rising raw material costs to full extent through product pricing. Innovation and R&D are the viable options to sustain profit margins for tire producers. Hence the presentations by JK Industries Ltd & CEAT will focus on the prospects of the Indian automotive industry, and technological advancement to meet tyre performance requirements.
Also featured in the meet will be the Southern Rubber Industry Company (Casumina) that has registered its trade mark - Casumina - in five ASEAN countries, besides Viet Nam, and has exported its products to 22 countries and territories.
